...and we're DONE.

Woohoo! After one final visit from my parents; for finishing bits and final sealing-- our bathroom is pretty much finished! (Looking past the few parts that need touch-up paint. There's nothing wrong with admitting you're a little lazy on a Tuesday night.) We are super excited to be done with it, and that we decided to put wainscoting up. Overall we love it and were happy we got to do it ourselves.

This tiny house seems to have all sorts of things to tear apart and redo... and it's becoming quite clear that this bathroom has started my brain thinking of all sorts of new things. I'm thinking the laundry room is next...

Drywall...

In concerning that tiny 1" gap by the vanity: Drywall is difficult. And time consuming. My gracious father was so sweet in coming over to help me tackle the intricate beginning parts of drywall; I then spent the upcoming days sanding/spackling/sanding/spackling/then sanding again. Who would have thought so much dust could travel so far? Our house was looking like an abandoned barn for awhile-- luckily all turned out well and wainscoting followed. I had to get record of all the help we got, also-- THANKS DAD! (Seriously. What would we do without you?)

Final pics to come!
