So again, the two-day project turned into a two-week one-- but still satisfying nonetheless! When Bryan was at work I took over our tiny laundry room, tore the doors off, sanded them down and painted them... painted the walls, and put up more shelves on the back wall. I think our laundry room is officially ready to hold more Costco-trip spoils.
So! We still need to re-install the cabinet doors and finish putting on hardware, but after that it's DONE. So excited to have more room!! (And drawer pulls- we don't have any in our house, so my knuckles always have a few raw spots where you have to reach under everything... no fun.) So every tiny project moves our little house closer to this decade. Every bit counts I guess!

Walter; the graduate.
Time for an update.
I'd say one of the best things about our little house is the ability to update things without having to overhaul everything. Take our laundry room for instance: First of all, happy that we have one. Second of all, it happens to contain our (old) kitchen, which means it's full of cabinets. But alas, these pieces are a bit outdated:
Notice. Super-sexy contact paper. They don't do it like they did in the 70's anymore, that's for sure.
Needless to say, even with the abundance of storage we managed to fill things up quickly. That's what happens when you move your wedding gifts straight from the boxes they were in into the nearest cabinet. So with spring fast approaching and my need to clean kicking in full-force, I decided it was time for an update! I've been tearing into things pretty quickly here, more pics to follow...
